Week 2

This is the second week for art practice and presentation, and we had an individual meeting with Mitja. We talked about our artist statement and what that means.
I talked about my single project, because this will be my portfolio (I think!) and what that means to me. Still I have to think how I have to structure my artist statement, because it is not that simple. It is not easy for an artist to explain in words what he/she explains in an artwork.

Week 1

The second semester is started, hopefully my last year.
During the lecture, Mitja discussed what Art Practice & presentation is about. He went through the module study guide and he talked about the assignments and what we have to do.
Comparing to the semester one, this second part of the course looks more interesting and useful for our approach to the real world, the professional world.
First it is something new and after this "we will be able to develop strategies that will allow us to present, contextualise and sustain ourselves as digital artists within the public domain".
This sounds great! I have been always thinking how I can present myself. Which is the best way to present myself for different contexts? ... Funding opportunities? What is that? ... Pricing artwork? I don't know, how much should I charge?
All these questions came up into my mind but I didn't have any aswers; I hope I will have them at the end of this course.
