Week 6

This is the last week and tomorrow I have to hand the assignment 1 in.
I have finished my artist statement and it looks really great. I just wrote down all my thought about my art and what that means to me.
I found a good web site of database of contacts which gives me a lot of information about animation companies.
I have chosen few images I will hand in of previous works and even few drawing I usually draw during my spare time; and now I think I am ready to hand my assignment tomorrow.
Good Luck Claudia!!!
And last thing, as you see, this blog is up to date!

Week 5

The assignment 1 is almost near, I wrote my artist statement but now I need to read it through to make few changes where it needs. It was a bit difficult just at the beginning when you have to put down the first thoughts; but now, reading it again, it is much simpler to correct it and add or take off sentences.
Still it needs to be finished off and the ideas to be organized, but for the rest I think it looks great!
For next week I need to find out and write down the database of contacts of companies I am interested of.

Week 4

During this week we did a small exhibition of our previous works of different modules. I went to see it and I stayed almost an hour to understand how it works.
In the mean time I am still working on my artist statement. I started to put down any thoughts I had in my mind, but it is more difficult then I thought. “Artists are artists not writers”, so would be really useful to hire a professional writer or editor to help me to convey I want my statement to convey in language that people understand.

Week 3

During the lecture, we asked some questions about the assignments. Then we talked about the exhibition for the following week.
During the week I did some research about the artist statement, but unfortunately I couldn’t find any example. I just need to read any artist statement to see how it is articulate. I will try again.
